Clifford Burkey paints beautiful watercolors, imbued with rich color and that elusive quality sometimes called “joie de vivre”; a result of special techniques developed by Clifford to bring out the intensity and vibrancy of color that is typical of a “Burkey”.
A signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, his award winning paintings embody bold color and depth of feeling; expressing Clifford’s passion for life and for painting what he feels. According to Clifford, “I paint because I must."
