About Jan Sovak

Well known muralist and portrait painter, Mr. Jan Sovak, skillfully combines the art of observation and the art of painting. Subject matter ranges from naturalistic themes to ancient legends -- sometimes in the same painting.

Mr. Sovak has won numerous awards world wide and has provided works for National Geographic and Discovery Channels. He has published over 250 books in 16 languages and exhibited his work in over 40 museums.
